Charlotte Norsworthy Varnum
Co-Host
Charlotte is the executive director at a student media non-profit. She holds an M. A. in journalism and also teaches a podcasting course at a major state university. Charlotte completed fellowships with NPR and Bloomberg and was host and producer of an award-winning interview-based podcast. She was lead author of a peer-reviewed paper on podcasts as educational resources. Charlotte also was lead editor of a podcast anthology, which captured two gold medals in a digital publishing competition. She joined the WinesWeDrink podcast to expand her wine knowledge through our conversations about the wines we explore.
Keith Herndon
Co-Host
Keith is a college professor with a Ph.D. in media and information. His passion for wine led to the creation of the WinesWeDrink podcast. He is a Certified Wine Sommelier, Certified Wine Educator and Certified Wine Specialist through training with the Asia Pacific Wine and Spirit Institute. He holds the American Wine Expert (AWE) credential from the Napa Valley Wine Academy and is certfied by Fine Vintage Ltd. as a Food and Wine Pairing Professional. Keith is also a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist through the Wine Scholar Guild along with numerous other industry wine certificates. He has served as a judge in the James Beard Awards.
